Ira Federer, MBA
PRESIDENT
Ira P. Federer, MBA spent 38 years in the Financial Industry. He recently retired after 23 years as Senior Vice President, Divisional Director of the Private Client Group at Raymond James & Associates, Inc. whose International Headquarters are located in St. Petersburg, Florida. In that capacity, he led over 100 Financial Services Branch Offices from Florida to Massachusetts. Prior to joining Raymond James, Mr. Federer spent 15 years at Prudential Securities as a financial advisor and held various senior management positions.
Mr. Federer is a graduate of Rutgers University and received an MBA from the University of Miami. He is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School. He also holds the designation of Wealth Management Specialist and Retirement Income Certified Professional.
Mr. Federer is past president of the Florida Securities Dealers Association (FSDA) and has served on the FSDA’s board of directors 1993 through 2017. He is on the board of the charitable Pediatric Cancer organization Art in Giving and a former board member of the Tampa Museum of Art. He is currently an active member of numerous organizations throughout the state of Florida. He is a former chairman of SIFMA’s Bulls Sales Management Roundtable Committee. He has served on the board of directors for Tampa Preparatory School as well as the American Heart Association’s Executive Leadership Committee.
He currently is providing family business consulting services in Business Development, Strategic Planning, Sales Strategies, Leadership Development and Mentoring of the Next Generation.
